Dualit Hand Mixer

I recently tried out the Dualit 88860 Immersion hand mixer. From what I can tell the mixer is of high quality and seems to work well.

The product features a 500-watt immersion blender with stainless steel blades. It allows you to chop, grind, blend, whisk, purify and liquidize any substance you wish quite easily. It comes with a variable speed control system which ranges from 9,000 to 16,000 rpms plus a pulse at 17,000 rpms. The Dualit hand mixer also comes with a detachable blending stick for quick cleanup plus a recipe book included. The measurements indicate that the mixer is 15 inches total.

From my own usage of this unit, I have found that the 500 watt mark is a little inaccurate. The US models are actually 320 watts. This is not to say that the unit does not have enough power, though. It definitely does, this does not take away from the effectiveness of the blender. This dualit works well to meet home use needs.

So far I have tested the hand mixer on salad dressings, fruit smoothies and thick soups. It performed well through all of these and left me with an excellent meal.
